Hip Hop Duo, Mighty Mouth has returned with their digital single, “Bad Boy” featuring Soya and they held a showcase at Holic Club in Seoul on May 10th. At the event, Shorry J promised to grow out his hair if the song didn’t do well.
The showcase was hosted by MCs Yang Bae Chu and Nam Chang Hee and during the event Sangchu explained a little bit about their new song, “Although the title of the single ‘Bad Boy’ might appear to sound dark and strong, it is actually a bright and cheerful song like the usual style of Mighty Mouth. We actually recorded this song last October, but its release was pushed back, which made fellow member Shorry J say, ‘If this song doesn’t do well, I will hold a grudge for a long time. We have to succeed.’”
The MCs, of course, became curious by this and turned to Shorry J asking him what he would do if the song didn’t do well. Shorry J’s responded with the following: “If the song doesn’t do well, then I will grow out my hair.”
He continued, “Kim Jong Kook’s cousin, Soya, featured in ‘Bad Boy’, and it really is a refreshingly good song. We would love to reach #1.”
Haha I hope the song does well too! I really can’t imagine Shorry J with long hair.
‘Bad Boy’ is a song about a guy who acts like a playboy who tries to steal the heart of the girl he likes, who just so happens to be played by Soya.
